Francis Finucane (University of Galway) is a lecturer in Medicine and a Consultant Endocrinologist at Galway University Hospital. His research is on the mechanistic basis for type 2 diabetes in young people, lifestyle intervention to reduce metabolic risk in older people and clinical research focusing on the relationship between adiposity and insulin resistance.
