Giacomo Severini is an Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering at UCD. His research focuses on developing novel concepts and tools for improving rehabilitation of impaired individuals with a specific interest in robotics and predictive modeling. He received a PhD degree from Roma Tre University in 2012. He was a postdoc at Harvard Medical School and Spaulding Hospital from 2012 to 2015. He has received >2M in funding as PI from the EU, SFI, IRC and Enterprise Ireland.
