Jufan Zhang
Jufan Zhang is based in the Centre of Micron/Nano Manufacturing Technology, School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, University College Dublin and holds a PhD from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China. Jufan is an Assistant Professor, a Lecturer and Principal Investigator. He uses his precision manufacturing expertise to enable novel solutions, such as nanopore chips and biomedical detection (including AI-supported data analysis), micro-textured artificial joints, microneedle devices for transdermal drug delivery, ultra-thin ultra-light AR lenses, micro-structured renewable systems. He has extensive experience in micro/nano manufacturing and metrology. He is a funded investigator of I-Form centre, member of IMC, ISNM, AET, UCD One Health Centre, UCD AI Healthcare Hub.
