Georgina Gethin

Georgina Gethin (University of Galway) is a Professor in Nursing and Midwifery. She has a particular interest in palliative wound care and specifically in the development of devices and interventions to alleviate distressing symptoms like wound odour. Georgina’s research aims to improve clinical decision making and ultimately patient outcomes through identification of objective biomarkers of wound status and interventions to improve healing.
