Nicholas Dunne (Dublin City University) is a Full Professor of Biomaterials Engineering and the Founding Executive Director of Biodesign Europe. He is the President of the European Society for Biomaterials and serves on the Board of Directors of the International Union of Societies for Biomaterials Science and Engineering.
His research programme lies at the interface of materials science, engineering and biology, focusing on developing drug-biomaterial combination medical devices for tissue repair and regeneration.
