Rasha Alshaikh
Postdoctoral Researcher
Rasha obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy, MRes in Pharmaceutical Technology and PhD in ocular drug delivery. During her PhD, she investigated novel molecules for ocular neovascular diseases and developed an implantable drug delivery system for sustained drug release. At CÚRAM, she is conducting postdoctoral research on the implications of the EU Regulation on Health Technology Assessment for medical devices in Ireland under the supervision of Caitriona O’Driscoll at UCC.
