Róisín O’Flaherty

Róisín O’Flaherty (Maynooth University) specialises in the development of glycoproteomic and glycomics-based workflows in human health. Her team analyses glycan structures, glycoprotein profiles, and glycan-protein interactions to understand their functional implications in disease. Harnessing glycans, she is also developing glycoengineering and drug development workflows to improve the therapeutic properties of commercial proteins, immune complexes, and organoid models for clinical translation.
