CÚRAM’s Industry Program facilitates collaborative research between CÚRAM-funded investigators and industry partners, aiming to establish long-term strategic relationships and advance medical device technologies. We support industry partners from initial inquiry to knowledge transfer and future project identification, ensuring continuous communication from start to finish.

Our team possesses the expertise to select suitable funding models and structure flexible Intellectual Property (IP) agreements that meet the needs of funders, investigators, and industry partners. We collaborate closely with Technology Transfer Offices and Knowledge Transfer Ireland to maximize project benefits, particularly for patients.

Funding

CÚRAM funding can be leveraged based on project needs. The following are two funding models for industrial collaborative research agreements:

Fully Funded
  1. 100% Industrial Funded
  2. Foreground IP ownership

Co-Funded
  1. Up to 50% co-funding available
  2. Foreground IP licensing
