Surojeet Das

Surojeet works at the interface of biomaterials, immunology, and regenerative medicine. He obtained his PhD in Regenerative Medicine through EMBL Australia at the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI), Monash University, under the supervision of Mikael Martino and Peter D. Currie. He also holds an MTech in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, India. His research focuses on engineering immune-material interactions, particularly the monocyte-macrophage axis, to drive tissue regeneration. At the University of Galway, under Abhay Pandit, he is developing immunomodulatory biomaterials for translational regenerative therapies.
