Speaker: Rui Domingues

Location: Biomedical Sciences Building, University of Galway

Date: Monday, 27th July 2026

Rui M. A. Domingues is a Research Group Leader at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), Portugal, where he leads an interdisciplinary research program focused on nanotechnology, biomaterials, biofabrication, and microphysiological systems. His research aims to develop nanostructured biomaterials and human microphysiological tendon models to study disease mechanisms and advance regenerative therapies. He is the recipient of an ERC Consolidator Grant (FORTIFy) and actively contributes to the European regenerative medicine community through the TERMIS-EU Strategic Alliance Committee and the TENET – Tendon Regeneration Network. We are delighted to welcome Dr Domingues and look forward to his insights and contributions to our community

All are welcome to attend.
