CÚRAM is pleased to announce a seminar with Mohsen Javadpour (Beaumont Hospital) for an insightful talk on the intersection of neurosurgery and technology to enhance patient care. The event is hosted by Karen Doyle.

Professor Mohsen Javadpour, FRCS(SN) is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with interest in brain aneurysms and vascular malformations, pituitary and skull base tumours, and stereotactic radiosurgery.

Mohsen is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (1993). Having obtained the medal for part I FRCSI examination (1997), he went on to train in neurosurgery at the Walton Centre for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Liverpool, UK and subspecialty training in neurovascular surgery at the Toronto Western Hospital, Canada. He was Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Walton centre in Liverpool from 2004 to 2011 and held a number of positions, including Chairman of British Neurovascular Group (2008-2012) & Member of Council of Society of British Neurological Surgeons (2011-2016) and associate editor of the British Journal of Neurosurgery.

Mohsen moved back to Ireland in 2011. He is currently Consultant Neurosurgeon at the National Neurosurgical Centre, Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, honorary senior lecturer at Trinity College Dublin and honorary clinical associate professor at RCSI. He was the clinical director for neurosurgery at the National Centre for Neurosurgery in Ireland between 2016 and 2018. Mohsen has been the local principal investigator in 5 randomised controlled trials and is the co-chief investigator of the ROAM trial. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and has written 5 book chapters.
