CÚRAM is delighted to host a special workshop for researchers, featuring Dr Monika Golda-Cepa, Editor-in-Chief of Cell Biomaterials.
Dr Golda-Cepa brings a unique perspective on academic publishing, combining extensive experience in research, teaching, and editorial leadership. Before joining Cell Press, she served as Managing Editor for Applied Surface Science and Associate Editor for Materials Today Communications. She was previously an Associate Professor at Jagiellonian University, Poland, where her research focused on antimicrobial surfaces, functional coatings, and controlled drug delivery.
In this session, Dr Golda-Cepa will share her expertise on navigating the publishing process, offering practical advice on manuscript preparation, peer review, and increasing research visibility. She will also discuss common challenges in academic publishing and provide insights into what editors look for in high-quality submissions.
