Understanding the composition of cerebral clots retrieved from patients suffering from a stroke was elucidated. This major project, resulting from international collaboration with the Mayo Clinic and the industrial partner, Cerenovus, is now linking clot compositions with clinical outcomes and is driving decision-making around the most appropriate clinical intervention for improved patient outcomes.
