Asfand Yaar

Asfand Yaar earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Catania, Italy, where his research focused on developing robotic systems to assist humans in complex environments. He also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS). His research interests include bioinformatics, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and machine learning. At CÚRAM, under the guidance of Davood Roshan, he is focused on integrating histopathology and genomic data to enable data-driven insights for precision medicine and enhance patient care.
