Fatma El-Komy

Fatma El-Komy holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacy, MPSE and has recently completed her PhD in Pharmacy at University College Cork. She is currently a Research Assistant in the School of Pharmacy at UCC. Her research focuses on health technology assessment, evidence synthesis, qualitative research, and healthcare policy. At CÚRAM, under the supervision of Caitriona O’Driscoll, she is investigating the implementation of the EU Health Technology Assessment Regulation (HTAR) for high-risk medical devices, supporting evidence-informed decision-making through stakeholder engagement and evidence synthesis.
