Postdoctoral Researcher
MedTrain+ Fellow
Filipp completed a PhD in Immunology at the Research Institute of Clinical and Fundamental Immunology, Russia. His doctoral research focused on the association between genetic variants of pro-inflammatory receptor genes and the expression levels of their membrane-bound and soluble forms. He joined Kawasaki Medical School in Japan as a postdoctoral researcher in Molecular Medicine, where he investigated the molecular mechanisms and pathophysiology of lysosomal storage diseases, particularly proteins involved in intracellular transport. At CÚRAM, Filipp joins Abhay Pandit’s group to study implant-host immune responses, building on his background in immunology and cell biology.
