Pádraig Cantillon-Murphy (University College Cork) specialises in medical device design and electromagnetic devices for minimally invasive and image-guided interventions. The current work is focused on developing image-guided surgery with magnetic navigation or tracking technology, where the line of sight is not available, providing highly accurate tracking of instruments, tools, and cameras inside the patient.
