Isma Liza Mohd Isa

Isma Liza Mohd Isa is an Investigator at CÚRAM, University of Galway, and an Honorary Research Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine. She is also a Senior Lecturer in Anatomy at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her research specialises in degenerative disc disease, developing biomaterial systems to modulate inflammatory pain for treating back pain. She is advancing her research on stem cell therapy towards precision medicine, aiming to uncover disease mechanisms and develop human disc-on-a-chip for patient-specific pathogenesis of disc degeneration for personalised therapy.
