José Miguel Fernández Real

José Miguel Fernández Real obtained his BSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Universidad de Málaga and his MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Galway. He has joined CÚRAM as a PhD student under the supervision of Catalina Vallejo Giraldo. His research project, part of the TrapKill initiative, focuses on developing functionalised hydrogels as innovative therapies for glioblastoma, integrating biomaterials science and oncology to design new treatment strategies for aggressive brain tumors.
