Postdoctoral Researcher
Mehedi Masud holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering, Sensors and Instrumentation from the University of Brescia, Italy, and an M.S. in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. His doctoral research focused on wireless interrogation systems for passive resonant sensors. He has conducted postdoctoral research at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Galway, where he developed pressure sensors for indwelling pleural catheters. At CÚRAM, under the guidance of William Wijns, he is working on the SMARTSHAPE project, developing wireless implantable blood pressure monitoring sensors. His research interests include sensor development and integration, signal conditioning, data acquisition, and signal processing for health monitoring.
