MedDevDoc Fellow

Porooshat Sabeti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, in which she explored neuroscience-informed design for educational spaces. Her commitment to sustainability subsequently led her to earn an MSc in Applied Environmental Science. She has pursued her passion for Education and Public Engagement (EPE) through collaborations with various institutions, demonstrating that community-driven projects addressing local needs—such as environmental issues—through a scientific approach can serve as powerful informal classrooms, even without conventional desks and chairs. At CÚRAM, she is developing a framework, under the supervision of Veronica McCauley, that empowers facilitators of such social actions with the aim of improving learning outcomes and amplifying societal impact.
