Sahil Anchal earned his MS (Research) and PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where he specialised in footstep-based biometric identification using AI algorithms. He is currently a MedTrain+ Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow, affiliated with University College Cork, under the supervision of Padraig Cantillon-Murphy. His ongoing research focuses on the development of wireless electromagnetic tracking devices for navigational diagnostics in gastrointestinal (GI) tract applications.
