Project Manager
Ruth completed her master’s in Preventive Cardiology from the University of Galway, B. Physiotherapy from University College Dublin and B. Commerce from the University of Galway.
She has many years of clinical experience working in the HSE as a clinical specialist physiotherapist specialising in cardio/respiratory care and cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation at University College Hospital Galway and in the community.
Her research spans from prevention to medical device innovation, telemedicine and AI-assisted medical intervention. Ruth has been associated with the University of Galway since 2022 and is currently the Cardiovascular Research Manager for Faisal Sharif’s Cardiovascular Research group at the University of Galway. She is also the manager of the Research Ireland infrastructure Cardiovascular Research CT scanner at the Clinical Research Facility, University of Galway.
