Sakina Naiman has experience in teaching, community engagement, and contributing to large-scale collaborative projects. She has participated in national studies in Afghanistan involving diverse groups and has developed strong skills in coordination, assessment, documentation, and research analysis. She is deeply committed to widening access to education for individuals facing systemic and social barriers, drawing on extensive work with underrepresented and displaced communities. At CÚRAM, she is working under the supervision of Afshin Samali, Elaine Keane, and Helen Maher on research that underpins the development of a national access pathway to support refugees and international protection applicants in progressing to postgraduate studies, with a focus on strengthening inclusion, participation, and long-term opportunities.
