Sandeep obtained his BPharm from Pokhara University, Nepal, and completed a Master’s degree in Industrial Pharmaceutical Science as a Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) recipient from Chung-Ang University, South Korea. His core research interests are developing and characterising oral drug delivery systems, particularly the extended-release dosage forms, including mucoadhesive oral films/patches, pellets, and multi-layered tablets. Currently, he is working under the supervision of David Brayden at UCD on the design and characterization of a buccal patch for the delivery of GLP-1 peptides or similar analogues.
