Postdoctoral Researcher
Satish obtained his PhD in Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. His doctoral project was focused on the development of biodegradable and biocompatible magnesium (Mg) based materials system for orthopaedic fracture fixing accessories. His research interests include bone tissue engineering, biomaterials and composite materials system for biomedical and structural applications. He is currently working under the supervision of Nicholas Dunne and Tanya Levingstone at Dublin City University, where he is working on an instant repair biomimetic treatment for brittle bone fractures for patients with osteoporosis.
