CÚRAM’s respiratory research is at the forefront of developing treatments for chronic respiratory conditions, including asthma, emphysema, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). One notable project is the optimisation of Aerogen® Solo for delivering heparin into the lungs of COVID-19 patients, with the aim of reducing inflammation and improving oxygenation.
